Alabaster Homes is a locally owned and managed real estate development company that specializes in multi-family projects in Metro Vancouver. Historically focused in Vancouver and Richmond, some of the company’s past successes include award-winning townhome developments such as Oak + Park, Yukon Residences, and Spires Gate. Alabaster is currently developing a range of mid- to high-density condominium and apartment projects throughout Metro Vancouver and other markets in BC.
The individual in this role will provide support to our Alabaster Accounting Team at our Vancouver office. Core responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and process payroll for salaried and hourly employees
- Set up and onboard new staff for payroll
- Review timesheets and verify calculations of hours
- Prepare and issue ROE, Letters of Employment, and T2200
- Review and submit benefits enrolment forms
- Prepare WCB reports and other corporate filings
- Assist with entering accounts payable invoices, printing cheques, and drafting accounts receivable invoices
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite
- 2 + years of Canadian payroll experience
- 1 + years of accounting experience is an asset
- Experience with ADP is an asset
