Alabaster Homes is a locally owned and managed real estate development company that specializes in multi-family projects in Metro Vancouver. Historically focused in Vancouver and Richmond, some of the company’s past successes include award-winning townhome developments such as Oak + Park, Yukon Residences, and Spires Gate. Alabaster is currently developing a range of mid- to high-density condominium and apartment projects throughout Metro Vancouver and other markets in BC.
The individual in this role will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager at our Vancouver office. Core responsibilities will include:
- Develop financial models for residential, commercial, mixed-use and co-working to provide analysis, project cash flows and determine investment returns
- Prepare monthly and quarterly internal reporting to highlight trends and variances
- Support the placement and administration of debt financing and equity partnerships including the preparation of underwriting packages, responding to due diligence requests and reporting
- Drive continuous improvements and automation in processes and reporting, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancements
- Develop and maintain relationships with appraisers, brokers and other external consultants as required for reports and market intel
- Responsible for other ad-hoc duties as required

- A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Urban Land Economics or a related field
- 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience
- Possess advanced proficiency in Excel and in MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, underwrite and evaluate real estate projects
- Completion of the CFA Program would be an asset
